The idea of Colony Fragrances originated back in early 2022 when the founder Brody Sumner couldn't find an alternative to spray fragrance. He looked through the market and found oils, balms, and many others that didn’t give the consumer an easy way to have perfume or cologne on the go and still smell like the luxury fragrances we all love.
He wanted a product that would be easy to carry and use in situations where spray really wasn't an option.
And the idea was born “PERFUME & COLOGNE WIPES”
Founder Brody Sumner began working for a cleanroom certification company where he would fly around the country and visit manufacturing facilities to fix their rooms and equipment. He visited some of the top manufacturing facilities in the country and began devising a plot to manufacture an alternative product in the fragrance market.
All while diving into the fragrance world and learning all he could about fragrance creation.
So the testing began and for nearly 2 years many things had to be perfect:
- Containers
- Wipes
- Sealing methods
- Longevity
- Fragrances
- Concentrations
- Formulation
In late 2023, the product was finally ready to be manufactured.
So founder Brody Sumner went to work building his own manufacturing space for the product and brought 4 fragrances to market:
SWEET DREAMS (women’s perfume)-
LOVE STORY (women’s perfume) -
LEGACY (men’s cologne) -
AFTER HOURS (men’s cologne)
He focused on fragrances that would be liked by the masses for the 1st editions of Colony Fragrances perfumes & colognes. Offering a product that not only worked as well as sprays but would allow consumers to place luxury fragrances exactly where they want on their body WITH WIPES!
